Hotel Silken Puerta América is a Gay Friendly, an innovative design hotel in Madrid, located not far from the Salamanca district, and well-connected to the city’s sights. This stunning 5-star hotel offers visitors daring design from globally renowned artists and architects, with 12 different floors boasting 12 different concepts by 19 different design studios. The goal was to offer a space where each of the architects could reflect the best of him or herself, of his or her work, and in many cases of his or her culture and way of viewing the world through architecture and design.

Inside the rainbow-colored building is 12 floors, each with a starkly different style. Originality, luxury, innovation and formal freedom define a hotel that awakens its guests’ senses. Guests can select the floor of their choice on arrival, but most popular tend to be Zaha Hadid's rooms (which appear to be sculpted from snowdrifts) or Arata Isozaki's studies which reminds Japanese minimalism. The building itself (along with the pool and gym) was designed by Jean Nouvel.

On the 12th and top floor, you can relax in the spa which includes a treatment and massage room, heated indoor swimming pool, a stylish hammam, hydromassage jet showers and a fitness room. A wooden terrace with deckchairs and cushions offers beautiful panoramic views.

Upon arrival you can select a specific room and floor from a selection of photos on a catalogue at reception. This option depends on availability and rooms will be assigned upon arrival. Please note rooms on the 7th and 8th floor carry a surcharge of EUR 20 per room per night.
